Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer at Vitalthings, you will play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge technology that directly impacts the well-being of individuals and enhances the efficiency of healthcare organizations. Leveraging the data from our products Somnofy and Guardian M10, you will collaborate with a diverse team of experts to deliver new services to healthcare professionals. From designing scalable solutions to ensuring data accuracy and security, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in people's lives while contributing to the long-term success of healthcare organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative healthcare technology solutions, with a focus on leveraging the capabilities of our contactless patient monitor.
  • Development of scalable and secure software applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Spearhead the work of creating new digital services for health care workers, and the infrastructure required for these.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical direction of the software team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for leveraging technology to improve people's lives.
  • We build our software using technology such as Go, Java, Python, React, React Native, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS. Being an expert at these is not a requirement. We believe that motivated and skilled engineers will learn the required technologies.
