The solutions are based on radar technology, which is less intrusive than camera and physical inspections.
- To make our solutions available to more municipalities, it is important to have partners who have a presence throughout the country, understand the need and an organization that is able to follow up in a good way. Atea has this, and they will therefore be an important partner going forward, says Chief Commercial Officer at Vitalthings, Heidi Blengsli Aabel.
Digital supervision provides benefits in terms of finances, working environment and patient safety
Digital inspection using radar is less intrusive than digital inspection using cameras and physical inspection. It saves millions, improves the working environment for employees and increases patient safety. These are the conclusions of three mini-methodological assessments prepared by the municipalities of Stad, Luster and Stryn with guidance from the Norwegian Institute of Public Health.
Will double municipal capacity
Atea is Norway's largest provider of health and welfare technology and works to improve the quality of life of individuals through innovative solutions.
– Our goal is to deliver technology and advisory services that lead to increased quality of life and coping for those in need of help, both in institutions and at home. At the same time, it is important to increase capacity and efficiency for healthcare personnel and provide security for relatives, says Endre Valdersnes who is director of e-health and welfare technology at Atea.
He is pleased with the agreement Atea has now entered into with Vitalthings, which he considers an exciting and innovative Norwegian company. He particularly highlights the importance of the company delivering unique solutions that record vital measurements and are medically and technically approved. In the future, there will be an increasing need for such services in nursing homes, care homes and in the follow-up of patients at home.
