We are looking for a doctor to work in medical product development and sales support

Would you like to use your clinical expertise to help shape new technology that improves patient care and provides healthcare professionals with better decision support – whilst also playing a direct role in engaging with the customers who will be using the solution?

Position: Doctor – medical product development and sales support

Application deadline: 31 March 2026

Vitalthings develops contactless patient monitors and associated software for continuous monitoring and diagnostics. We combine clinical insight, modern sensor technology and data-driven methods to address specific healthcare challenges – with the aim of improving quality, making more efficient use of resources and ensuring safer patient care pathways in both hospitals and local healthcare services. At Vitalthings, clinicians, developers and designers work closely together, with a strong focus on documentation, quality and regulatory compliance.

We are currently looking for a doctor to work at the intersection of clinical practice, product development and commercial support.

The role will primarily be divided between medical product development (including clinical evaluation and risk management) and medical sales support. The position is initially 100%, but a combination with clinical work (split role) may be considered for particularly well-qualified candidates. Training will be provided.

Job responsibilities

Medical product development

  • Planning and conducting clinical evaluations in collaboration with the CMO, QA/RA and a multidisciplinary team (clinical evidence, documentation, follow-up).
  • Contribute to risk management and quality assurance work in accordance with relevant regulations and internal processes.
  • Active participation as a clinical resource in user interface development, user testing and development meetings.
  • Translate clinical needs into clear requirements (user needs / intended purpose / clinical workflows) and ensure that the solution is relevant and practical.
  • Post-market surveillance (PMS): contributing to the monitoring of products on the market (collecting and assessing feedback and literature, clinical follow-up and reporting where relevant).
  • Research collaboration: participate in the planning and implementation of research projects, including grant applications, protocol design, collaboration with clinical settings, and contributions to publications and reports.

Medical sales support

  • Medical and clinical support in customer processes: needs assessment, specialist presentations, workshops and dialogue with clinical decision-makers.
  • Help provide implementation support to clients alongside the rest of the team.
  • Travel is to be expected in connection with client meetings, demonstrations and conferences.
